How to Clean a Washing Machine Detergent Dispenser Drawer

To remove the detergent dispenser drawer, press the two tabs downward and pull it out.

Wash the dispenser drawer in warm soapy water using a mild detergent. Be sure to clean all of the nooks and crannies.

Once the dispenser drawer is clean, reinsert it into the washing machine. Make sure that it is securely in place.

Clean the dispenser drawer regularly to prevent soap scum and buildup.
If your washing machine has a bleach dispenser, be sure to clean it regularly as well.
If you have a high-efficiency washing machine, use a detergent that is specifically designed for HE machines.
